Human Resources Manager, Izola Bank & GPC Ltd
Olivia currently occupies the position of Human Resources Manager with Izola Bank plc and its sister company Global Procurement Company Ltd. She set up the Human resource function in both companies. Her role focuses on people management and development, HR strategy, leadership development, training needs analysis, employee initiatives, succession management and talent acquisition.
In precedence, Olivia was part of the HR team at Actavis (now Teva Pharmaceuticals), where she was actively involved in recruitment and selection, performance management and employee relations. Prior to that, she held the position of Recruitment Executive with an established recruitment agency. As part of her role, Olivia assisted clients in various industries with their recruitment requirements and provided them with the best matched talent to their needs.
Olivia studied and graduated with a Masters of Science in the Psychology of Work with the University of Leicester. She also holds a Diploma in Social Studies – Occupational Guidance and Career Counselling from the University of Malta. Olivia is currently reading for a Master’s in Systemic Psychotherapy.
She strongly believes in ongoing learning and self development. Olivia is currently reading for a Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Psychotherapy. This will enhance her skills and knowledge in dealing with the human at work and beyond.
