The MQF Level 4 Award for Real Estate Agents equips aspiring and practicing real estate professionals with the knowledge, skills, competencies and licensing required to become a competent and resourceful professional real estate agent. Working with leading industry practitioners, the Professional Award for Real Estate Agents allows learners to gain comprehensive technical knowledge and practical expertise in a wide range of areas that underpin the property market. The qualification covers all aspects of real estate, including working with clients, property valuations, buying and selling, financing, negotiation, and the legal requirements and expectations of agents.

Upon successful completion of the course, individuals will also obtain the relevant licence to act as real estate agents as outlined in ACT No. XXXII of 2020 — Real Estate Agents, Property Brokers and Property Consultants Act, 2020.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must hold any one of the following requirements:
- Be over 18 years of age and in possession of a school leaving certificate with a pass in English and Maltese or any other language in the case of a foreigner
- One year of experience in a relevant field

To achieve the MQF Level 4 Professional Award for Real Estate Agents qualification, candidates need to successfully pass a series of examinations.

This module will help students understand Maltese legislation when dealing with the selling or renting of property. Students will be exposed to the standard contractual clauses in a letting/sale contract in addition to the fundamental regulations governing the property industry in Malta.
This module will help learners gain knowledge in the major areas of finance related to the selling and renting of property as well as help them understand recent updates and changes in relevant acts i.e. contracts and anti-money laundering. Agents will also be thought on how to manage their own business financials.
This module focuses on the requirements and regulations for professionals looking to rent, sell and lease a property (residential or commercial). In this module, students will learn how to follow procedures and processes to initiate a sale/lease by collecting all necessary permits and meeting various acquisition property rules.
This module explains why ethics are moral principles that assist individuals to determine right from wrong and/or good from evil. This module is designed to be a guide for real estate professionals to meet and surpass the needs of clients and the community by being recognised as a trusted professional.
This module explains the benefits and the challenges of customer care in real estate. In real estate, agents must provide an empathetic and helpful service to their clients to retain good relationships with clients. This will be addressed by exploring the ‘Customer Lifetime Cycle’.
This module equips prospective agents with the necessary tools that are essential to become successful in sales. In this module, students will explore the negotiating process, strategies and tactics and learn how to improve their closing rate and negotiate for sales success.
