The Award in Human Resource Development introduces learners to the role of continuous professional development within HR, outlining the importance of determining possible training gaps and needs and demonstrating how these can be tackled to improve the overall performance of individuals and organisations.
Learners will learn how to:
- Critically implement human resource development initiatives to address gaps within organisations.
- Manage training and development.
- Implement strategies that are compliant with the overall strategy of the organisation.
- Deploy effective training programmes.

Accrediting Body
This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. MFHEA deems this Award in Human Resource Development to be at Level 7 in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree and have 2 years of relevant work experience. Excellent command of written English is required.

Mode of Assessment
The Award in Human Resource Development is assessed through the use of a case-study and presentation and an assignment.
