The MQF Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management (Business Management)Â introduces learners to become familiar with the primary similarities and distinctions between leadership and management. Additionally, learners will be introduced to the key theories that govern both concepts and encouraged to engage in critical thinking to determine which approaches are best suited for various organisational activities, departments, and objectives.
Learners will learn how to:
- Monitor own strengths and weaknesses to enhance personal performance.
- Support and mentor all team members effectively.
- Collaborate with others and lead by example.
- Describe the role of the leader in the organisations.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both internal and external at the workplace.
- Support and mentor all team members effectively.
- Apply leadership styles depending on the one that fits most in an organisation and its objectives.
Awarding Body
This qualification is awarded by Central Mediterranean Business School (CMBS).
Accrediting Body
This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. MFHEA deems this Award in Leadership and Management (Business Management) to be at Level 5 in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.

Applicants should normally hold a Bachelor’s Degree, however, we also assess other factors including your career progression, and leadership and entrepreneurship qualities. Mode of Assessment
The Award in Leadership and Management (Business Management) is assessed through the use of a presentation and an assignment.
