- Have in-depth knowledge of strategic human resource management and how it relates to the overall strategy of the organisationÂ
- Forecast the HR needs of an organisation whilst working in conjunction with the entire HR departmentÂ
- Carry out job analysis and job descriptions before the recruitment of a new employeeÂ
- Manage and motivate employees, making use of effective strategic human resource managementÂ
- Comply with the legislation governing recruitment and employment in organisations
- Monitor and evaluate performance and implement effective reward systems Â
- Ensure an organisational understanding of the need for effective recruitment proceduresÂ
- Assess and discuss various approaches including resource-based approaches and contingent approaches

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must hold any one of the following requirements:
- MQF Level 4 qualification in a relevant field
- Matriculation certificate with passes in at least 2 A-levels and 3 Intermediates
- Matsec certificates with 4 passes at Grade 5 or better
- Relevant work experience in a relevant field
Non-native English speakers must also have an English qualification such as CEFR or IELTS 5.5.

Mode of Assessment
The Award in Strategic Human Resource Management will be assessed through a presentation, assignment and reflective journal.Â
