Designed for business managers, our MQF Level 5 Award in Critical Thinking equips learners with the fundamental concepts of critical analysis and explores the key benefits and challenges of implementing these practices in the workplace.
Learners will learn how to:
- Be responsible for effective decision making using critical thinking
- Deal with change making use of effective critical thinking skills and techniques
- Collaborate with colleagues and team members in the implementation of critical thinking for effective management
- Create a team environment which fosters and encourages critical thinking, encourage problem solving and effective  decision-making

This qualification is awarded by Central Mediterranean Business School (CMBS).
Accrediting Body
This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. MFHEA deems this Award in Critical Thinking to be at Level 5 in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must hold any one of the following requirements:
- Diploma pegged at MQF Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant field
- Matriculation certificate with at least 2 A-levels and 3 Intermediates
- Matsec certificates with 4 passes at Grade 5 or better
- Relevant work experience
Non-native English speakers must also have an English qualification such as CEFR or IELTS 5.5.

Mode of Assessment
The Award in Critical Thinking for Managers is assessed through the use of an assignment.
