CMBS recently welcomed Abdul Goffar, the head of ACCA Western Europe, during an official visit on site to discuss the newly launched ACCA Accelerated Work Study Programme.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1529998910145{padding-bottom: 4px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]During his visit, Abdul praised CMBS for its outstanding work as an approved ACCA tuition provider and said that he “is delighted to be working with CMBS on this really innovative programme”.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1529998910145{padding-bottom: 4px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]He also emphasised that ACCA trusts that such a delivery “will offer students a dynamic and accelerated route through to ACCA membership, giving them the vital and much in-demand financial and strategic skills a modern-day employer needs”.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1529998910145{padding-bottom: 4px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]With this type of ACCA programme, graduates will obtain two years of invaluable work experience as well as secure full-time employment. Upon graduating, students will also hold not one, but two qualifications.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1529998910145{padding-bottom: 4px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]After successfully completing the first year, students will be awarded a TQUK Diploma in Professional Accountancy which exempts them from sitting for the ACCA Applied Knowledge and Skills exams. Then, after successfully completing the second year comprised of the ACCA Strategic Professional-level exams and fulfilling their Practical Work Experience requirements students will obtain the full ACCA qualification and become chartered certified finance professionals.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1529998910145{padding-bottom: 4px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]CMBS is collaborating with various companies including EY Malta, Kaikei International Ltd, TRI-MER Services Ltd, Alan Fiorini, and Busuttil and Micallef to offer students job placements and study scholarships.
