Student Affairs and Admissions Executive (Full-time)

The Student Affairs and Admissions Executive will play a key role in guiding and supporting the Student Affairs team to ensure the smooth delivery of services that enhance the student experience. Acting as a central coordinator and motivator, this position focuses on fostering a student-first approach while encouraging synergy between departments and promoting continuous improvement in processes and services.

The role requires someone with hands-on experience and the ability to work collaboratively with teams, ensuring that institutional goals are consistently met while prioritising student satisfaction.

The Student Affairs and Admissions Executive will report directly to the School Principal.

 

Role responsibilities (will include but are not limited to) 

Team Leadership and Coordination:

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of reference for the team, offering constructive feedback and promoting professional growth.
  • Facilitate team collaboration, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional objectives.

 

Enhancing Synergy Across Departments:

  • Act as a bridge between the Student Affairs team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
  • Work collaboratively to address cross-departmental challenges, contributing to a cohesive institutional approach to student support

 

Student-Focused Services:

  • Oversee the implementation of student support initiatives, ensuring they are responsive to the needs and feedback of the student body.
  • Address student concerns with a proactive and empathetic approach, ensuring swift resolutions that prioritise student well-being.

 

Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure that daily operations within the Student Affairs team run smoothly and effectively, adhering to institutional policies and standards.
  • Monitor the accuracy and confidentiality of student records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Technology and Innovation:

  • Support the effective use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle to enhance the student experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes using technology and implement solutions in collaboration with the IT department.

 

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an educational setting, ideally with exposure to student-facing roles and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating collaboration and initiative.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensures operational processes run smoothly, with a focus on precision and compliance.
  • Adaptability: Open to feedback and responsive to the evolving needs of students and the institution.

 

Performance Metrics

The Student Affairs and Admissions Executive performance will be evaluated based on specified metrics, which will be updated on an annual basis following performance reviews held with the School Principal.
