Vacancy: Office Administrator (Full-time)

We are actively seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our business school on a full-time basis. As a crucial and valued member of our administrative team, we are not just looking for someone to fill a role but for an individual with the right attitude and a commitment to personal and professional growth. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in supporting various functions to ensure the efficient operation of our school, including providing excellent customer support. This role also presents an opportunity for meaningful career progression within our institution.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise office supplies and administrative resources.
  • Handle inquiries and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
  • Assist in coordinating events, workshops and seminars hosted by the school.
  • Provide administrative support to different departments within the school.
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to student and faculty information.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and academic materials.
  • Support basic financial tasks, such as tracking expenses and processing invoices.
  • Act as a liaison between students, faculty and administration.

 

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in English and Maltese at native or near native level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to a dynamic academic environment.

 

Education:

  • Minimum post-secondary level of education;
  • Basic knowledge of academic administration software is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in office administration or a similar role.

 

Salary Bracket:

€18,000 to €23,000 (based on qualifications and experience)
