Terms and Conditions

Central Mediterranean Business School (CMBS) accepts firm bookings through a booking form which is completed online. In making such bookings, clients accept our bookings and cancellation policy. A deposit is to be paid to Central Mediterranean Business School to guarantee your booking.

 

Refund Policy

A full refund will be given to cancellations received up to 120 days before the commencement date of the Masters programme. For all other courses, a full refund will be given if cancelled up to 60 days before the programme’s commencement date.

 

Cancellation Policy

 
Cancellation Policy for MBA programmes
  • Confirmed bookings may be cancelled up to 120 days before the programme’s commencement date without any penalty.
  • Cancellation between 119-90 days before the programme’s commencement date will mean 20% of the course fee is payable.
  • Cancellation between 89 – 60 days before the programme’s commencement date will mean 50% of the programme fee is payable.
  • Cancellation between 59 – 31 days before the programme’s commencement date will mean 75% of the programme fee is payable.
  • Cancellation within 30 days before the programme’s commencement date will mean that the full fee is payable.
  • Should the delegate discontinue attending the programme, 100% cancellation fees are applicable.
  • Name substitutions can be made at any time before the Programme commences without penalty, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
 
Cancellation Policy for the ACCA Accelerated Work Study Programme and BPP Online Classroom Courses
  • Confirmed bookings may be cancelled up to 30 days before the programme’s commencement date without any penalty.
  • Full cancellation fee policy is applicable for this programme should students decide, for any reason whatsoever, to discontinue the course. Any unpaid fees shall be immediately due upon discontinuation, and the payment terms shall no longer be applicable.
  • Deferments – Students will be allowed to defer their studies on a case-by-case basis. CMBS cannot be held responsible if course content or tutors vary by the new start date.
  • Discounts – CMBS may offer early-bird discounts at times. This is at the Central Mediterranean Business School‘s discretion.
  • Visa applications – Due to the part-time nature of the programmes offered, the Central Mediterranean Business School does not take responsibility for Student Visa applications. It is the full responsibility of the student to comply with any visa requirements in order to reside in Malta and attend lectures as required.
 
Cancellation Policy for other programmes
  • Confirmed bookings may be cancelled up to 60 days before the programme’s commencement date without any penalty.
  • Cancellation between 59 – 31 days before the programme’s commencement date will mean 50% of the programme fee is payable.
  • Cancellation within 30 days before the programme’s commencement date will mean that the full fee is payable. This must be paid before the start date of the programme. We will, however, once payment has been received for the original booking, transfer the invoice value to another programme running within one year of the original programme date if you wish to do so.
  • Should delegates discontinue attending the programme, 100% cancellation fees are applicable.
  • Name substitutions can be made at any time before the programme commences without penalty subject to eligibility criteria being met.

On confirmation, you will be sent an invoice for the programme fee. Full payment is required before the start date of the programme booked unless a written agreement of our Flexible Payment Terms has been accepted by CMBS. If we have not received payment, we reserve the right to cancel the place from the programme.

CMBS does not store credit card details or share customer details with any 3rd parties. CMBS reserves the right to cancel a Programme if insufficient bookings have been received. Delegates will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the Programme fee. CMBS reserves the right to make changes to the programme. CMBS reserves the right to refuse any booking.

 

Data Protection Notice

CMBS processes and stores personal data in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection ACT XXVI of 2001, as amended by Act XXXI of 2002. Any personal information supplied will be used primarily to answer enquiries, provide services, or fulfil contractual obligations. Where necessary, consequent upon the way we organise our business, personal data may also be used for operational and administrative purposes. Personal data will not be released to non-associated third parties unless there is a legal or regulatory reason to do so or unless the third party fulfils a service on our behalf. We will not store personal data longer than is reasonably necessary.
